What You Might Have Missed
Hey guys - missing every single one of you all right now. Hopefully we can all meet up as soon as possible.
Anyway, here's a brief report on some stuff that you might have missed:
- TJC Dance Concert - Reverie II (19th May 2006)
In a night where bright lights and body movement stole the limelight, the TJ Dance Club was - what can I say? - absolutely magnificent. The diversity and sophistication of the dances were captivating every millisecond of the way. Ms Lee, of course (how can we forget her?) was the leading lady in the teacher's item that, surprisingly - but pleasantly, of course, included Mrs Ang.
- TJC College Day 2006 (20th May)
Right, so only Liling and I were the only people there, but it wasn't exactly as bad as it sounded. Things got off to a dreary start though, with Mrs Than and Mrs Beetsma rattling off every single name - you didn't read it wrong, EVERY SINGLE NAME on the award list to be sure the attendance was correct. Afterwards we had to follow some strict rules to ensure the ceremony went off smoothly.
The new principal's way of pronouncing the word 'TJCians' got me a little unsettled, but the guest-of-honour Mr Nicholas Lee of the Ideas Factory wasn't too bad.
Free food for all award-winners outside the auditorium, with Four Seasons serving the fabulous laksa and stuff. Some wonderful chocolate eclairs to enjoy as well.
More updates coming, and I hope the sun comes out soon so I can go swimming.
Missing you people
Aiyo, so fast reaching June already! Its been how long since we last hang out together? The guys are all so busy in the army now. Girls are you all still working? Hope you ppl are also taking care of yourselves in the midst of playing and working. Let's meet up again soon ok?
To Everyone
Thanks a lot for the re-design, Owen!
To the guys: Hope those who aspire to be commanders are posted to command school and the rest are posted to a good unit. For those still in BMTC, like me, good luck!
To the gals: Hope you've gotten the course of your choice and have fun in Uni!
New (plagiarised) design
For those of you who wondered why I wasn't around for the outing yesterday, the reason was because I was sick.
I'm still sick.
But anyway, I thought that it was time for our blog to have a revamp.
So I decided to go to Blogger to check out their blog designs - and I thought this one was pretty cool. They even have TJ-themed colours.
So I picked it, modified it a little (only changed the header picture, actually), and voila! A new blog (design) to look forward to.
Lots of things in life to look forward to, so let's keep looking forward but never forget that in the
past we spent two very interesting years together!
